Guest Services Agent (GSA)
A Guest Services Agent should be capable of functioning independently and as part of a team, have exceptional attention to details, and possess excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Guest Services Agents are responsible for reservations, check-ins and check-outs while providing an exceptional customer experience to guests from arrival through to departure.
Guest Experience Lead (GEL)
The Guest Experience Lead (GEL) is a supervisory role that works with the Reception and Residence Service Desk Facilitator, the Guest Services Administrator, and the Group Accommodations Facilitator to manage the Guest Service Agent (GSA) team. The individual must possess the ability to exercise independent judgment and deal with situations using tact and diplomacy. GEL’s are responsible for supervising the on shift desk team (~15 individuals) to ensure an exceptional customer experience is provided to students/guests throughout their stay from reservations through to departures. GEL’s are also responsible for de-escalating problems at the desk in accordance with HRL policies and procedures.

Night Auditor (NA)
This position works in the evenings and overnights with shift times from 11pm-7am or 12 Midnight-8am.

Financial Assistant (FA)
The Financial Assistant (FA) will work closely with the Guest Services Administrator in financial planning, reconciliation, financial analysis and journal entry preparation. This individual should be capable of functioning independently and as part of a team, has exceptional attention to details, is comfortable with numbers and technology, possesses excellent communication skills, and demonstrates an ability to exercise independent judgment.
Summer Administrative Assistant (SAA)
The Summer Administrative Assistant (SAA) will work directly with the Reception and Residence Service Desk Facilitator and Guest Services Administrator to develop and manage the Summer housing program and provide general technical and administrative support to the Residences’ Summer Hotel Operation. Primary tasks include processing Summer housing program applications, creating team schedules, responding to general email inquiries, and taking meeting minutes. The Summer Administrative Assistant should be capable of functioning independently and as part of a team, have exceptional attention to details, and possess excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
Residence Orientation Lead
The Residence Orientation Lead works jointly with Housing and Residence Life and Central Orientation. They will be assigned and tasked with coordinating and executing residence specific events and activities that welcome new students living on-campus to the Toronto Metropolitan University community.
