GRAD Art Hive
Date & Time: January 29, February 12, March 12
Location: DCC, 7th floor
Attention graduate students and postdocs! We know that navigating graduate studies can be incredibly demanding, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. This year, join us for the exciting launch of GRAD Art Hive, a brand-new graduate peer support program created in partnership between the Yeates School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (YSGPS) and Health Promotion Programs (HPP) within Student Integrated Health and Wellbeing (SHaW).
GRAD Art Hive is designed to provide a refreshing break from your studies and offer a haven for creativity and connection. Monthly on Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m. in DCC, 7th floor, we offer a welcoming and inclusive space where you can unwind, explore your artistic side, and connect with your peers. Each session features planned activities that do not require any artistic experience, and art supplies will also be available for students and postdocs who prefer to work on their own projects. Our trained peer supporters will be on hand at every session to facilitate conversations about mental health and well-being, providing guidance and fostering a supportive atmosphere.
Whether you’re looking to reflect on your journey, share unique perspectives, or simply take a moment for yourself, GRAD Art Hive is here to support and inspire you.
Join us and experience a nurturing environment where your well-being is our priority. Embrace this opportunity to connect with fellow graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and discover new ways to cultivate balance and creativity throughout your academic journey. Don’t miss out—be part of GRAD Art Hive this and rejuvenate both your mind and spirit!
No artistic experience required. All materials provided.
TMU graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from all disciplines are welcome!
Please contact simone.cote@torontomu.ca if you require any accommodations to ensure your inclusion in this program.
