As an RECE, Ana strives for excellence and quality while promoting family engagement and well-being in the relationships she creates.
Ana is passionate about guiding a team of dedicated educators in creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where adults and children engage in play and network with other families and community partners.
Ana's local and international experiences in early learning along with her background in music and movement allows her to provide rich, engaging learning experiences for all ages. Ana is always energized at the opportunity to share her passion for early childhood with others. Ana prides herself on fostering an inclusive, equitable and safe space for children, families and placement students to come together to learn and play. Ana welcomes, guides and supports students in placement from various programs at Ryerson University. Ana finds richness in these student partnerships as they are a vital component to offering research based and innovative service planning. Ana was the recipient of a Field Education Award from the School of Early Childhood Studies in 2016.
