ENG repair work in loading dock and ENG-B13 Mar. 19 to Apr. 1
Facilities Management and Development (“Facilities”) is overseeing repairs in the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre (ENG) to address damage to the concrete ceiling in ENG-B13 and the floor drain in the loading dock above this room.
The work is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 to Tuesday, April 1, with disruptive scope work scheduled for Thursday, March 20 to Wednesday, March 26 from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
How this may impact you
The ENG loading dock will remain closed for the full duration of the work, while ENG-B13 will remain operational except for an area of work cordoned off.
During the work, there will be some temporary noise and vibration affecting the areas closest to the repairs on the basement and ground floor. Some temporary dust and debris may be observed around the construction areas. The construction crew will make every effort to minimize the negative impact of their work.
