Electrical conduit route installation in DCC Mar. 26 to Apr. 12
As shared on March 20 (external link) , Facilities Management and Development (“Facilities”) is overseeing construction of the new Student Wellbeing Centre, located at 137 Bond Street. To provide temporary power to the construction site, contractors will be installing an electrical conduit route in the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex (DCC). The electrical conduit route will be installed in the DCC basement and ground floor near the building’s west entrance beginning Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 7 a.m. until. Saturday, April 12 at 5 p.m.
How this may impact you
To complete the work, there will be temporary reductions to interior spaces in the DCC basement and first floor to support overhead work and the storing of a scissor lift in the ground floor lobby.
There will be some temporary noise disruptions affecting the areas closest to the work. The construction crew will make every effort to complete noise generating work before 8 a.m. to minimize the impact on occupants.
