Led by Paul Chung, the director of design, construction and project management, Toronto Metropolitan University’s Project Management Office (PMO) is dedicated to planning, coordinating and managing all renovations, new construction and infrastructure renewal projects for Facilities Management and Development.

The PMO staff regularly coordinate, cooperate and collaborate with Facilities Services Maintenance & Operations, Computing & Communications Services (CCS), Environmental Health & Safety, University Business Services and Campus Safety & Security.

What we do

The PMO provides professional project management services through all phases of a project from planning through execution, including: 

  • feasibility studies
  • estimates, budget and scheduling
  • building permits and planning approvals
  • design and construction
  • furniture layouts and procurement

Our expertise

PMO staff include project managers and project coordinators with professional training and designations covering a wide area of expertise:

  • building architecture and landscape architecture
  • architectural technology and building science
  • project management professionals
  • construction management and technology
  • mechanical, electrical and civil engineering 
  • interior design, furniture, fixtures and equipment
