Have your say: 202 Jarvis Street rezoning consultations

Ryerson’s redevelopment of the surface parking lot at 202 Jarvis Street is approaching an important milestone. In late 2018 the university submitted to the City its rezoning application for a mixed-use complex featuring academic, retail and student residence spaces. The primary academic use will be for the Faculty of Science, including several large classrooms. The site’s open areas and ground-floor will be animated and welcoming to the public, featuring trees, a café and a retail location.

Public consultations are an important part of the planning and rezoning process - there are three ways that you are invited to have your say:

June 4th Public meeting (7 p.m.– 9 p.m.) in the ILLC – Presentations about the project will be followed by an opportunity to meet with planners and designers to share comments and have questions answered.

June 5th Pop-up event (11 a.m. - 3 p.m.) in the Sheldon and Tracy Levy Student Learning Centre main foyer -  Posters about the project will be on display and members of the project team will be available to hear comments and respond to questions. Enjoy a piece of pizza while learning about the project!

Online May 30 - June 6 – Information about the project is available online now and until June 6 you are welcome to leave comments or questions.

Please take a moment to attend one of the events or take a look online and leave a comment about this important development.
