The Power Up Program is a summer internship that supports students and early-stage entrepreneurs in the Clean Energy Zone (CEZ). Student interns receive placements at CEZ startups and provide an opportunity to learn about core aspects of entrepreneurship such as ideation, minimum viable product, financing and more. Student entrepreneur participants receive guidance in developing a minimum viable product and gain valuable business and energy sector support. This paid program equips young innovators with leadership experience, business savvy, and communication skills to succeed in the clean energy industry through a structured program. The Power Up Program welcomes Toronto Metropolitan University students with clean-energy ideas or a passion for clean energy to apply.
