TMU’s overall approach to return to campus planning is informed by current public health information. The information may change if the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve.

Disinfectant wipe stations are available throughout the campus in some common areas, designated classrooms and high traffic shared equipment facilities. |

Community members who are unwell must not attend campus and follow existing absence procedures for employees and/or students. |

While not required,TMU continues to be a mask-friendly environment. Masks are available as outlined on the Masks and PPE page. |

As a primary health and safety measure, the university continues to encourage all who are able to be vaccinated to do so and to remain up-to-date with current COVID-19 vaccinations in the event that COVID 19 Vaccination Policy is reinstated. |

The university follows the industry best practices for filter replacement and our air filters meet or exceed the Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) rating recommendations — for filtering fine particles in the air — and guidelines put forward by American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and Public Health. |
What if my employee asks for an accommodation?
If an employee requests a medical accommodation, please advise that they contact Workplace Wellbeing Services. In cooperation with the employee's doctor, Workplace Wellbeing Services will work with leaders and employees where possible to:
- implement preventative strategies in the workplace;
- determine if remote work arrangements are necessary.
