Free Food Project

Students enjoying free food at the Hub Café
To help address food security in our community, The Office of the Vice-Provost, Students and TMU Eats have teamed up with several campus partners to offer you free food during the exam season!

What's available

Hot meals made in-house by the TMU Eats team

Meal options rotate daily.  Offer only available daily while supplies last, with a limit of one meal per student.

  • Dates: Wednesday, December 4 through to Friday, December 13, excluding weekends. 
  • Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., while quantities last.
  • Location: Hub Café, JOR 1st Floor

Offerings

  • Choice of one meat entrée (halal) with two sides or one plant-based entrée (vegan) with two sides*
  • A choice of one cold beverage, and one rotating snack food item

Certified kosher packaged options are available upon request. Made-without-gluten entréee alternatives are also available upon request.

Information for staff and faculty 

TMU faculty and staff may access the all-inclusive meal option at the Hub Café for $8.75 (tax inclusive), while quantities last.  

Please note that the Hub Café's regular offerings are not available during this time. For your convenience, the Footnote will be available for hot beverages and grab-and-go items until December 13. 

TMU Eats is donating all proceeds from staff and faculty sales to fund future food security programs.

What you need to access offerings 

Students will need to show their OneCard or log into D2L/my.torontomu.ca as proof of student status in order to access the program.
