Certified Health Executive (CHE)

Master of Health Administration in Community Care MHA(CC) students are now able to work toward obtaining their Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation (external link, opens in new window)  through a partnership the program has with the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) (external link, opens in new window) . This program offers individual leaders several benefits, including support for lifelong learning in health services leadership; assistance with career advancement; and peer recognition, and also serves as an essential career designation.

Candidates in the MHA(CC) program have been approved through review of curriculum for advanced standing for the CHE designation. Particularly, the MHA(CC) has been approved to meet the following CHE requirements: LEADS Learning Series equivalency and LEADS in Action Project.

MHA(CC) candidates who enter the CHE program are required to successfully take the following CHE requirements to complete the credential process: LEADS 360 Assessment and 90-minute debriefing, Leadership Development Plan and CHE Evaluation Process.

MHA(CC) candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for both College membership and the CHE Programs set forth in the most current College Membership and CHE Program policies.
