Our Program
Midwives provide primary care to people with low-risk pregnancies throughout pregnancy, labour and birth and up to six weeks postpartum. More than half of this program is spent in clinical midwifery and interprofessional placements.
Spotlight
These three panel discussions showcase the preliminary findings of the Canadian Midwives of Colour History Project. Each panel examines a facet of the history of Black midwives: their stories, how they applied their ancestral knowledge, and the structural racism they experienced. Access to the recordings is by donation.
