These three panel discussions showcase the preliminary findings of the Canadian Midwives of Colour History Project. Each panel examines a facet of the history of Black midwives: their stories, how they applied their ancestral knowledge, and the structural racism they experienced. Access to the recordings is by donation.
Check out a virtual gallery with artifacts and multimedia on the history and impact of racialized midwives in Canada.
