External Summer Programs

Many of our partner institutions around the world offer short-term summer programs in a range of subject areas and disciplines.

Summer programs are generally regarded as 'short-term' programs that are distinct from exchanges. This means you pay tuition and/or program fees directly to the host institution.

How to Apply:

Program requirements and application procedures vary by institution. Please visit the program websites, listed below, for further information regarding application guidelines.

TMU Global does not play a role in the application process for the international summer programs.

Credit:

If you wish to receive credit for your time abroad, you will need to complete the Letter of Permission (LOP) process prior to departure.

Cost:

Students must pay program fees directly to the host university organizing the summer course/program. Some of the institutions listed below offer a discounted program fee to students who are from universities with whom they have an existing student exchange agreement with. You should check with the university directly to see if Toronto Metropolitan University is a partner and if you are able to access a discounted rate.
