Digital teaching strategies are being integrated into our classes more and more, especially since the sudden shift to remote teaching in 2020. As we have returned to the classroom, new technologies and knowledge have come back with us. The Digital Learning team is here to support the future of teaching at TMU by encouraging evidence-based, pedagogically rich digital experiences that enhance equitable, high-quality learning for all students.
This work emerges from the priorities for Digital Learning identified in the academic plan, as well as more than five years of consultation by the Digital Learning working group.
Digital Learning is a primary resource area within the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. Through a collaborative approach, the Teaching Centre fosters a community dedicated to big thinking about curriculum, pedagogy and creative ways of developing inclusive teaching practices that enrich the student learning experience.
