Active Learning Classroom

Our pilot active learning classroom will be located in Kerr Hall West 57 (KHW-057) and is slated to open in 2023. This room will allow interested faculty and instructors to explore and experiment with active learning pedagogy.

Classroom Improvements

As part of its mandate, the Teaching and Learning Space Working Group (TLSWG) sets priorities for the maintenance and renovation of existing learning spaces. This includes upgrades to lighting, accessibility, furniture, and finishes.

Imagining Better Learning Spaces with Dr. Terri Peters on "Podagogies: A Teaching and Learning Podcast"

TMU's Dr. Terri Peters is an Assistant Professor of Architectural Science, focusing on building design, sustainability, health, and well-being. Dr. Peters has completed extensive research on the impact of the physical design of classrooms and appeared on "Podagogies: A Teaching and Learning Podcast" in early 2022 to discuss the future of in-person learning.
