Study Spaces On-campus
Students will find a variety of spaces on-campus that are suitable for academic work. There are quiet and/or individual study spaces; group work study rooms; and also computer workstations or laptop loans available for research and course work. Here are a few suggestions:
DCC - Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex
As a student in the FCS faculty, CYC students can book study space in the Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex.
LIB - Library Building and the SLC - Student Learning Center
The TMU library has open study space, group study rooms, laptops and desktop computers available to TMU students. You can book group study rooms, laptops and computers using the library's on-line booking systems.
The Student Learning Centre, which is accessible through the Library's main floor, provides an outstanding environment in which to study, collaborate and share ideas.
Academic Computer Labs - Computing and Communications Services (CCS)
CCS provides students with computing lab services, including desktop computer and printing services and support. You can find information about lab hours and locations on-line, or visit the main Academic computer lab located in KHW-71.
TMU computers inside George Brown student computer lab
There are some computers available to Community Services students located near the back of the George Brown student computer lab, 6th floor, SHE building, room SHE- 677. The opening hours for this computer lab vary depending on the time of year. The operating hours are posted near the door.
