Managing Interpersonal Dynamics and Teams
A manager's success is highly dependent upon his or her self-awareness, and knowledge of techniques for effectivelymanaging interpersonal dynamics and teams. The course moves from a focus on the management of self to a focus on themanagement of others, individually and in teams. Topics include: increasing self-awareness, stress management, buildingrelationship and supportive communication, gaining power and influence, negotiating and resolving conflict, empoweringand engaging others, leading positive change and building effective teams. This course is intended for students whoalready possess a conceptual foundation in organizational behaviour. (formerly MGT 741)
