Power and Authority in Canada

Understanding government decisions requires an analysis of power and authority in Canadian politics. This course examines the role and powers of the Constitution including the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the legislature, the courts, and other Canadian institutions. In careers affected by government decisions awareness of these institutions and of their influence in the Canadian political process is essential. (Canadian)
