VPN Instructions

We only support L2TP.  

IP Address of 141.117.248.15 for on campus use with SOCIVENG domain.

IP Address of 141.117.248.5 off campus use with new CIVIL domain Username will be the same as your TMU account. Password will be your student number.

 

Only those who are allowed access will get access.  Also, we have setup a firewall.  If you want remote access, you must follow the directions explicitly.  You will need a New Civil Account or your old SOCIVENG accouint. 

 

There are also new videos to show the install and login process.

Note: You NEED to connect to the VPN to have access.

Connect using the ip address listed in the above link. (Once connected to the Civil VPN)

 

Synchro is installed on MON20701 to MON20710 in the Graduate Computer Lab MON207.

These computers are for in person only. They will not be accessible via remote desktop.

 

Remember to add old domain (SOCIVENG) or new (CIVIL) domain info when using Remote Desktop

Please remember to logout when you’re finished.

This VPN will allow remote desktop to ALL graduate virtual computers.

 

 

Note:

 

These are not your personal computers.  They will be imaged on a regular basis. DO NOT save your critical files on the local drives.  Please use your network location or a portable drive or USB.
