The global.torontomu.ca proxy service is similar to a virtual private network or VPN, and helps you access most applications on the ryerson.ca domain that may perform poorly or not be usable in your location overseas.
How to access global.torontomu.ca
Visit https://global.torontomu.ca from your web browser. As long as you’re outside of Canada, the United States or Mexico, you will be connected to the global.torontomu.ca interface.
You’ll need to provide your my.torontomu username, password and two-factor credentials to authenticate to the proxy. Once authenticated, you should be able to access TMU’s online resources in the same way you do on the TMU campus.
