Secure Connections
Many of Toronto Metropolitan University's (TMU) online resources require secure connections. Your options for establishing a secure connection vary with the online resource you are using.
- TMU-VPN is security software that allows you to access administrative systems off campus such as RUFIS and CFAPS.
- global.torontomu.ca is a proxy service that helps you access most applications on the ryerson.ca domain that may perform poorly or not be usable in your location overseas.
- Secure Shell (SSH) is a secure alternative to Telnet and is used to log in to TMU's servers.
- Education roaming (Eduroam) allows students, faculty and staff to securely access the wireless network at fellow educational institutions using their TMU credentials.
