Architecture Camp
Description
Toronto Metropolitan University Department of Architectural Science presents this week-long camp for campers looking to unleash their creativity! Campers learn from some of the top Architectural Science students at Toronto Metropolitan, and participate in innovative and engaging team and individual exercises.
Each week's program culminates in a distinct take-home project that campers develop and take home on the final day of the week.
Camp days comprise an even balance of Architecture programming and physically active Camp games, so your camper goes home each day having nurtured both their body and brain.
The curriculum for Architecture Camp is developed by Prof. Vince Hui, who is a past recipient of the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations Teacher Award (external link) .
Ages
All campers 9 – 13 years old (as of December 31)
Dates & Fees in 2025
Week #1: (June 30, July 2 - 4): $430 - 4 days
This week's theme is Home Sweet Home, campers will be engaging in many activities, which include creating book nooks, building structures out of Rice Krispies Treats, and working in teams to build inflatable houses.
Week #2: (July 7 - 11): $495 - 5 days
This week's theme is Make or Break, campers will be engaging in many activities, which include building chairs, creating an interactive wall and working in teams to build a cardboard bridge.
Week #3: (July 14 - 18): $495 - 5 days
This week's theme is Make or Break, campers will be engaging in many activities, which include building chairs, creating an interactive wall and working in teams to build a cardboard bridge.
Week #4: (July 21 - 25): $495 - 5 days
This week's theme is Make or Break, campers will be engaging in many activities, which include building chairs, creating an interactive wall and working in teams to build a cardboard bridge.
Week #5 (July 28 - July 31): $430 - 4 days

Week #6 (August 5 - 8): $430 - 4 days

Registration closes three (3) business days before the start of a session, OR when that program is full.
