Wellness for the Performer
This course focuses on anatomy for the movement-based performer and teacher with a primary focus on wellbeing. Stress management; mind-body-heart connection; holistic nutrition; and other physical, mental, and emotional health promotion topics will be covered and contextualized to the performing artist. The knowledge gained in this course will enhance the student's awareness of how one’s unique embodiment and identity can inform effective goal-setting and interventions for heath-cultivating training, performance, rest, and recovery.
