Playwriting

Introducing the fundamentals of playwriting. Aspects such as dramatic structure, form, plot, world-building, action, dialogue, characterization, and theme are covered. Creative writing exercises develop an individual voice and style. The goal of the course is to understand and apply an individual practice of writing and integrate it through writing exercises culminating in a rough draft of a one-act play.
