NMA 321
Intro to Tangible Media
This studio class introduces students to concepts, techniques and strategies of tangible media. Digital and analog sensor systems, basic electronics and coding for
microcontrollers are introduced. Students will explore modes of interactivity, user
experience, agency and systems thinking. The course opens pathways to embodied art practices such as physical interface design, wearables and robotics. Basic programming skills are an important part of this course. (Formerly RTA 321.)
