Experiential Learning at TMU

Experiential Learning (EL) provides students with opportunities to integrate classroom theory with practice. Through EL, students are able to hone skills, competencies and values that are needed in careers and life; develop and nurture professional networks and connections with communities; foster personal growth while clarifying academic and career goals; and create real-world impacts by bringing academic content to life. Students have many opportunities to participate in EL throughout their degree program(s).

The Experiential Learning Hub (opens in new window)  supports and provides resources for students interested in pursuing EL-based courses and activities. Students can also contact their program/department with any questions regarding EL-based courses or other EL opportunities available at Toronto Met.

For more information see Senate Policy 169 (opens in new window) , Experiential Learning.
