Advanced Arabic I
This lower level advanced course focuses on further developing students' linguistic,
communicative, intercultural, and critical skills in Modern Standard Arabic. Through a
selection of authentic material and short literary excerpts, students continue to advance their reading, writing, oral, and listening skills. Topics in this course include diasporic communities, gender relations, fashion, culinary traditions, and other socio-cultural issues.
