Environmental Science

The course introduces basic scientific principles and concepts that form the knowledge base for understanding of the natural environment. It covers environmental components and their physical, chemical and biological interactions. Topics include human population, ecosystems, nutrient cycles, energy flow, chemical interactions and pathways of environmental pollutants in the atmosphere and water, air and water pollution prevention.
