The Optional Specialization in Zone Learning - CUE is meant for those students who wish to pursue an entrepreneurial/product development activity under the purview of the Centre for Urban Energy. Students enrolled in this experiential learning opportunity, from diverse backgrounds and all faculties shall propose new energy and related topics as a term project. This project may be undertaken individually or in a team. Multi-term projects are a possibility as the project demands.
The following options exist:
- Students may choose to propose their own CUE-framed activity and seek guidance from fellows and faculty members at Ryerson.
- Alternatively, students can also work on an agreed topic with a chosen mentor (a fellow or faculty at CUE), who will provide mentorship.
- Students may choose to work in on-going sponsored projects at CUE by requesting and gaining the consent of principal investigators.
The student(s) should identify a proposed activity, which shall be undertaken as a part of this optional specialization and is not being done already in other engagements.
For more information see the Centre for Urban Energy website.
