High School Diploma equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma with six (6) Grade 12 U/M courses. Each program also has specific subject prerequisite requirements, as stated in the individual program details section of this calendar.
Unless noted otherwise, subject prerequisite grades required for admission (normally in the 65-70 percent range) are determined on the basis of competition.
While minimum averages/grades are stated, applicants may be required to present averages/grades above the minimum. These should only be used as guidelines.

Overall average of at least 70 percent in five academic Grade 12 courses (including English 40S). Prerequisite(s) must be numbered 40.
NEW BRUNSWICK
High School Diploma
Overall average of at least 70 percent in five academic Grade 12 courses (including English 121 or 122). Prerequisite subject(s) must be numbered 120, 121 or 122.
NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR
Senior High School Graduation Diploma
Overall average of at least 70 percent in at least 10 academic Grade 12 credits (including English 3201). Prerequisite subject(s) must be numbered 3000 or higher.
NOVA SCOTIA
Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma
Overall average of at least 70 percent in five academic or advanced Grade 12 courses (including English 12 ACAD). Prerequisite subject(s) must be at level 12 ACAD or ADV.
NUNAVUT
Nunavut Secondary School Diploma
Overall average of at least 70 percent in five academic Grade 12 courses (including English 30). Prerequisite subjects(s) must be numbered 30 or 31. Inuktitut 12 and Aulajaaqtut 12 are acceptable courses.
PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
High School Graduation Certificate
Overall average of at least 70 percent in five academic Grade 12 courses (including English 611 or 621). Prerequisite subject(s) must be numbered 611 or 621.
QUEBEC - CEGEP
Twelve courses from the Diplôme d’Etudes Collègiales (DEC) program of study.
Overall average of at least 70 percent in 12 semestered academic courses in a university preparation program (DEC) in CEGEP (including two English courses-603 level) and all other specific program subject prerequisite(s) normally in the range of 70-75 percent. Two CEGEP courses are required for each prerequisite subject(s). Higher grades/averages may be required.
QUEBEC - GRADE 12

Overall average of at least 70 percent in six Grade 12 academic (university-preparation level) courses (including Grade 12 English). The prerequisite subject(s) must be at the Grade 12 level.
SASKATCHEWAN
