Commencing 2012-2013
The Physics Minor provides students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of physical concepts as well as acquire lab and problem solving skills in Physics. The Physics Minor provides an option for students to have an emphasis in a field other than their own; the additional qualifications give them the opportunity to diversify in their choice of graduate program or career after graduation.
The Minor is not available to students in Medical Physics program, in the Biophysics option of the Biology program, or in the Applied Physics option of Chemistry program.
To receive the Minor, a student must complete six courses from the following course of study:
Three courses from the following:
(PCS 120 and PCS 130) or (PCS 211 and PCS 125)
and
PCS 228* or PCS 300*
Three courses from the following:

NOTE:
BEng students will take PCS 125 and PCS 211. BSc students will take PCS 120 and PCS 130.
