Ontario Secondary School Students in their Senior Year
Students in Ontario secondary schools apply using the OUAC 101 application, available online at www.ouac.on.ca/101. For assistance, visit your secondary school guidance office in the Fall for details. A $115 base application fee (subject to change) must accompany the completed application.
Part-time Program only Applicants
If you are applying to a Ryerson part-time program only (with the exception of Midwifery, please see below), you should apply using the Ryerson Online Application Form available at: www.ryerson.ca/undergraduate/admission/apply/forms. The current Ryerson application fee is $80 (subject to change).
All other Full- and Part-Time Degree Program Applicants
If you are applying to a Ryerson part-time degree program and/or to a full-time program at Ryerson or any other Ontario University or if you are applying to the Midwifery program and you are a previous OSSD graduate, mature, transfer, or out-of-province applicant, apply using the OUAC 105 application form available online at www.ouac.on.ca/105.
The OUAC base application fee is $120 plus $80 for the Ryerson Supplementary fee. Fees are subject to change. Applicants must submit a completed Supplementary form to Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment at Ryerson. Applications will not be reviewed until the Supplementary form is received. Supplementary forms are available online at www.ryerson.ca/undergraduate/admission/apply/forms.
International Students
International students who are not attending an Ontario Secondary School apply using an OUAC 105 application available online at www.ouac.on.ca/105. Application procedures are provided with the application form. The OUAC base application fee is $120 plus a surcharge of $10 if the mailing address is outside of Canada (subject to change) (Canadian funds). An $80 (subject to change) Supplemental/Document Evaluation Fee is also required. A completed Supplementary Application form (available at www.ryerson.ca/undergraduate/admission/apply/forms) must be sent directly to Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment at Ryerson. Applications will not be reviewed until the fee and Supplementary form is received.
Current/Previous Ryerson Students from Fall 1984 to Present (including students taking continuing education courses), Candidates Applying to a Part-time Degree Program or Candidates Seeking Special Student Status:
Previous or current Ryerson students from Fall 1984 to present (including students taking continuing education courses), applicants to part-time degree programs (except Midwifery) and candidates seeking Special Student status do not apply through the OUAC unless they wish to be considered for admission to another Ontario university. Applicants must apply using the Ryerson Online Application Form available at: www.ryerson.ca/undergraduate/admission/apply/forms. The current Ryerson application fee is $80 (subject to change).
All applicants note:
- Before completing either the OUAC 101, 105 or Ryerson Online Application, the application instructions should be read carefully. The program code(s) that describe most accurately the program(s) chosen should be selected and are available with each online application.
- Applicants may review and change their completed application once it has been submitted. If any revisions to the OUAC application are made, Ryerson will be notified of the applicable changes shortly after the submission to the OUAC. Although all changes are important to the processing of each application, changes to program choice, surname, mailing, e-mail and home addresses are of significant importance and should be reported to the OUAC as soon as the situation arises.
- Applicants who have applied via the Ryerson Online Application must notify Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment of any changes in application, address, e-mail, telephone numbers and/or other information as soon as they arise using the Ryerson Change Form.
For applicants that have applied to Ryerson in a previous academic year: If the name on the application has changed in any way, proof of this name change (i.e. marriage certificate, notarized statement or other legal document) must be provided.
As Ryerson will communicate to candidates via e-mail, e-mail addresses must be kept current. Applicants should ensure that they have edited/updated their 'spam' filters to prevent important and time-sensitive e-mail communications from being filtered out as spam.
NOTE: Changes (e.g. to application/amendments/condition extensions, etc.) may not be made verbally, either in person or by telephone. Most communication from Ryerson is date sensitive. Applicants who fail to respond within stated time frames may have their application or Offer of Admission cancelled.
