The International Living Learning Centre (ILLC) was built in 1987 as a 300-suite hotel and acquired by Ryerson in 1993. Highlighting the ILLC facility is a 150-seat International Conference Room as well as two 40-seat multi-tech classrooms. Conference Service offices are located on the second floor of the building. Guest rooms are available for rental on the 2nd floor for Ryerson visitors and faculty.

Equally important, the ILLC provides residence space for the Ryerson students from September through April. There are 252 single rooms with lounges and kitchens located on each of the nine residence floors. During the May through August period the facility operates as a 252-suite summer residence.

This combination of living learning space creates many exciting opportunities for Ryerson students through year round employment opportunities offered by the ILLC. These include positions within the food services, catering, front desk, housekeeping, security and administrative departments.

The International Living Learning Centre (ILLC) is located at 133 Mutual Street in the East end of the Ryerson campus, just North of Gould St.

Food Services at the ILLC

The ILLC is cozy, relaxing, friendly, and comfortable. Students, faculty and staff are welcome. Student cards (Ryerson OneCard) are accepted at all food outlets.

Maggie's Eatery and After 7

Delicious food at great prices. For eat-in or take-out, Maggie's Eatery features market-style food display stations, offering a make-your-own salad bar, daily specials, soups, fresh baked goods, desserts, cakes, gourmet coffee, and an assortment of cold beverages. Also, you can choose from a wide variety of grill menu items, vegetarian selections, and fresh sandwiches made to order.

International Cafe
Enjoy your lunch in a casual dining atmosphere, featuring menu selections of soup, salad, sandwiches, steak and daily specials. Come in and sample the cuisine of the chef's specialties.

Managed by a team of professionals under Ryerson Conference Services, ILLC offers banquet and catering facilities to suit your needs all year round. Summer accommodations are also offered at both ILLC and Pitman Hall residence. The Conference Service team is committed to delivering exceptional service and value to the University community.
