Shanee is graduating with a Bachelor of Social Work and a minor in Psychology. She hopes to one day work in the education or child welfare system to tackle anti-Black racism and support Black children, youth and families.

What advice do you have for other Black students at TMU?

Don't ever doubt yourself. It may not be easy but try not to compare yourself to others. Instead, remember that you belong and are exactly where you're meant to be.
