What does it mean to be a Black TMU grad?

Being the first in my family to complete a bachelor’s degree is a heart-warming experience. Being a child of an immigrant and single-parent household, I am proud of myself that I beat every barrier!

What advice do you have for other Black students at TMU?

Keep pushing. Ground yourself. It's okay to not be perfect. Network. You can't do it all on your own.
