What does it mean to be a Black Ryerson grad?

So important that Ryerson University has created this platform to celebrate Black achievement in academic studies. Am hoping that this platform will serve to encourage other Black students to pursue their academic goals in post-secondary education.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

Continue my community work addressing the gun violence crisis in Toronto and working with partners to address social justice issues that negatively impact Black peoples in Canada.

What advice do you have for other Black Ryerson students?

Keep pushing through as you blaze a trail for other Black students to come
