Accolades and awards

What do you plan to do after you graduate?
As an aspiring showrunner and TV writer, I plan to continue networking and shaping up my portfolio to land a job in a writers’ room. But with anything I do, I want to approach with an intersectional lens, helping to build diverse and inclusive spaces both in front and behind the screen.
What advice do you have for other Black Ryerson students?
Blackness is not a monolith. There is no one way to be Black. Reflect on what being Black really means to you and embrace it. Finding community can be difficult at times but when you do, it’ll be well worth the wait.
