What does it mean to be a Black Ryerson grad?
I think being a Black Ryerson grad is something we should all be proud of. It means that you can truly succeed if you put your mind to it. You are strong, dedicated, ambitious, and intelligent. We are all unique, creative, full of amazing ideas and can persevere through obstacles.
What do you plan to do after you graduate?
After I graduate, I plan to pursue a Teaching degree. Since I love working with children, I want to continue doing that in the role of an Elementary School Teacher. This will allow me to support children in their learning and provide opportunities that will help them grow and develop.
What advice do you have for other Black Ryerson students?
To other Black Ryerson students, I would say that you should never give up. As you journey through University, you will make mistakes but do not be discouraged. Remember that you can always get back up and keep on moving forward. There is always hope when things are hard.
