What does it mean to be a Black Ryerson grad?

Being a Black Ryerson Grad Is an amazing accomplishment. To be able to achieve such greatness in a world that thrives for the failure of Black people and places stereotypical labels to your name. To overcome those Stereotypes and Statistics is beyond amazing.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

My plans after Graduation are to Start my Masters in Child and Youth Care in September, find work in the field, receive dance training to be a dance instructor, and many more.

What advice do you have for other Black Ryerson students?

My advice for other Black Ryerson students is to push despite the adversities. Do not allow what others have to say to determine your future. You are Black Excellence. You are not a stereotype or statistic. You will not fail but you will succeed. This is your winning season and you will achieve every goal that people said you wouldn’t.
