The Faculty of Arts offers outstanding graduate programs that combine research intensity and strong experiential components. Our programs prepare graduate students to embrace the challenges and opportunities of interconnected and evolving local, regional and global landscapes. Our graduate students bring over a million dollars per year in external fellowship and scholarship funding and a high percentage are involved as authors on conferences and publications. Graduate programs are offered through the Yeates School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The Faculty of Arts is committed to making your graduate student experience both academically fulfilling and personally enriching.  With eight graduate and three Arts-affiliated programs, students will have a chance to work alongside and be mentored by talented faculty members in order to conduct research that will lead to transformative changes in both Canada and around the world.  Toronto Metropolitan University and the Faculty of Arts are uniquely located in the heart of a global city, enabling graduate students to examine, assess and address societal challenges through a multitude of perspectives.
