We Are Arts!

The Faculty of Arts rolled out the welcome mat to some 1,300 new students this year in a big way. Over 800 students took part in action-packed orientation activities during the weeklong event in late August.

One of the highlights was SLC Live, a signature event that brought together nearly 4,000 students, all the faculties, departments across Ryerson and the Ryerson Student Union for one massive multi-media celebration. Students also joined staff and members of the Ryerson Liberal Arts Society in the Dean’s Office on Sept. 4 for an open house where they sampled delicious treats and took home student survival kits, water bottles, backpacks and Arts-branded t-shirts.
