Are you a newcomer youth (15 to 29) to Canada and looking to gain a competitive edge in the job market? Check out the ADaPT for Newcomers program – designed to successfully integrate newcomers into the changing Canadian labor market!

ADaPT is a skills development and work placement program offered at no cost to participants. Since 2014, ADaPT has trained Over 1,500 participants trained & 36 cohorts to date + specialized cohorts in Pegasystems, Data Analytics, and Salesforce.

eligibility criteria for ADaPT newcommer program: Must have immigrated to Canada within last 5 years, must be eligible to work in Canada and available for dull-time employment and/or summer placements immediately, eligible Youth ( 15 to 29 years old)

Workshops of ADaPT for NewCommer: Business Writting, Presentation Skills, Communication Styles, Emotional Intelligence, Career Development Strategies, Networking & Personal Branding, Sales Fundamentals & Customer Service, Data Analytics using Excel and Business Financials. Electives: Adob Illustrator and Adobe Infographics, Design Thinking, SEO and Google Analytics, Project Management, HTML & CSS Coding. UX Design Fundamentals

If you're applying for ADaPT for Newcomers, you must be an eligible youth (age 15-29), must be a newcomer to Canada within 5 years, and are eligible to work in Canada. Non-TMU students and alumni who fit the eligibility criteria are welcome to apply for ADaPT for Newcomers.
