CCS Scheduled Maintenance and Outages

Preventative Maintenance includes a variety of activities necessary to keep information and technology services running, such as software patches, fixes and upgrades, hardware upgrade. Additional outages may occur as a result of unforeseen hardware or software issues. In these cases, CCS strives to provide as much notice as possible.

No alternate service will be available if a system or an application is not available due to the scheduled maintenance or outage, unless explicitly indicated in the table below for the particular system/application.

    User Impact: No outage is expected with this change.

    Updating SSL certificates for *.prodint.torontomu.ca & *.ccs.torontomu.ca
    User Impact: No outage is expected with this change.
  • Saturday, May 11, 11:00 p.m. to Sunday, May 12, 2:00 a.m.  
    Updating CAS/RMS production servers
    User Impact: Access to all CAS and uPortal instances, RMS Activation, Self Service and Admin will be unavailable. Google Workspace, eHR, TMU-VPN, MyServiceHub and D2L cannot accept new login during the downtime.
  • Sunday, May 12, 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
    Upgrading SLC wireless system.
    User Impact: None expected. The access points in SLC will be upgraded at random over a period of time to prevent any large areas from having wireless coverage.
  • Monday, May 13, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
    Updating Content 7 servers.
    User Impact: During this outage, Content Experience (content.torontomu.ca) will not be available, and student uploads will be brought down.
  • Tuesday, May 14, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Updating ADS application server.
    User Impact: The following ADS Java applications will be down during this time: Senate apps, Honorary Doctorate, PFACS, Curriculum Insights, OneCard services (used by the Exam Attendance and Convocation apps), Midwifery, Academic Integrity, Creative Industries Internship, Early Childhood Studies, FCAD Internship tracking, Grad Teaching Development Program, OneCard, Tutors Marketplace, CCS Forms, Parking, Exam Seating and Attendance, and FCADI apps.
  • Friday, May 17, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. 
    Upgrading database servers.
    User Impact: No automated ticket/queue assignment will be available to the students for self server kiosks. ServiceHub will be using paper based queue and support during the outage.
  • Sunday, May 26, 1:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. 
    Updating ServiceNow.
    User Impact: None expected.
  • Saturday, June 1, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  
    Updating eHR.
    User Impact: eHR Production will be down from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The non-production environments will be down briefly.
  • Sunday, June 9, 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
    Updating MyServiceHub.
    User Impact: MyServiceHub Production will be down from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.  All non-production environments will be down briefly during the outage.

    User Impact: MyService Hub production will remain up and running. The non-production environments will be down briefly.

  • Sunday, October 27, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
