Advancing Health Innovation: Spotlight on BVZ Alumni Startups this World Health Day!

Date: April 7th, 2024

As established by the World Health Organization (WHO) (external link) , this year’s theme for World Health Day is “My health, my right”, reflecting the right of individuals worldwide to access safe drinking water, education, clean air, quality housing, information, good nutrition, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination (WHO, 2024). It is crucial to highlight that health is a RIGHT for all, irrespective of race, gender, and sexual orientation.

As we, at Brampton Venture Zone by TMU, continue to foster innovation and growth in Brampton’s healthcare sector, we are actively highlighting the impactful work of our alumni startups within the industry to address barriers and increase accessibility.
