Website Banner - 11

Taking an idea from concept to reality can seem overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. FCD815 is an open elective course that empowers students from across disciplines to tackle real-world problems in a collaborative, practice-based environment. Designed to fit seamlessly into your academic journey, the course offers you the opportunity to work with industry, community, government and academic mentors while earning credits toward your degree.

In this dynamic course, student teams use innovative and creative approaches to solve challenges presented by industry, government, and community partners. You’ll gain hands-on experience through teamwork and  mentorship, sharpening essential skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. By the end of the course, you’ll have developed a demo, strategic proposal, or prototype — a vision-proofed solution ready for future execution.

If you’re ready to combine your passion with practical skills and real-world impact, this course is your launchpad.

Graduate students may seek approval from their program to enroll in the graduate-level course DG8306 Digital Project Lab

This course is only offered during the Winter semester. Sign up via course-intentions/enrol as an Open Elective.
