The Black and Indigenous Women and Non-Binary Members in the Fashion Zone Prize Event
At the beginning of the year, we had our Black and Indigenous Women and Non-Binary Members in the Fashion Zone Prize Event. Congratulations to Rosalee Mitchell of Raonraon Creations (external link) for winning the prize!
FZ x CGI Fashion Competition
In partnership with CGI, we had a fashion event to celebrate India’s textile and manufacturing industry through an Indian textile-centred competition and fashion show taking place at Holts Renfrew at Square One. Fashion Zone Black Fashion Innovators Awards
Powered by Amazon, the Amazon Black Fashion Innovators Award was launched This past summer and provided Fashion Zone members and alumni who identify as Black with a total of two prizes annually. congratulations to Michelle Nuamah, founder of Nuama (external link) for winning!
FZ Fits U Launch
We were so excited to start our FZ Fits U IG Reels Series this fall where we asked community members about their fits. This series explores fashion, what people are wearing on campus, and everything in between.
FZ Networking Night
In November, the Fashion Zone Hosted a Networking Night to Connect the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs with FZ teams, founders, & Advisors.
