In this session, participants will be exposed to the different tools and methodologies in doing market research for a start-up. There will also be a deeper dive into cases of businesses that skipped the validation step and what lessons can be learned. Featuring guest speaker: James Appleyard - President, Freycinet Venture Capital.

These sessions will be hosted by Rachel Zimmer, who is the General Manager of Entrepreneur First, and is an experienced Canadian entrepreneur who successfully built and exited her software startup. Each session features guest speakers from a variety of roles (founders, investors, subject matter experts) from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
