BioFect Innovations specializes in the application of synthetic biology to develop rare chemical compounds. Founded in 2017 by five PhD candidates at Ryerson University, their initiative is to bring benchtop research to industrial needs. Their founders share over 25 years experience in biological techniques and diverse backgrounds of genetic manipulation, proteome analysis and microbiology.
