The Design Fabrication Zone (DFZ) is seeking student volunteers to support their weekly Open Shop nights on campus.
Participating as an Open Shop Ambassador enhances your CV, provides hands-on experience, and positions you as a leader within TMU’s creative community. In this role, you’ll support the DFZ’s dynamic Open Shop program while gaining valuable skills in digital fabrication, workshop facilitation, and community engagement. Plus, this opportunity can count towards internship and practicum hours! Volunteers also receive free after-hours access to laser cutting and 3D printing—an excellent way to develop your projects and portfolio while contributing to the DFZ’s mission of fostering innovation and collaboration.
