Photokeratitis

Experimental Project

Photokeratitis is an installation that will be displayed at the Toronto Design Offsite 2015 Festival. Photokeratitis will serve as a backdrop for furniture on display for retail–however, the installation simultaneously functions as an independent art object. Photokeratitis changes appearance throughout the day based upon ambient lighting conditions. As natural daylight gives way to artificial light in the evening, the solidity of the piece dissolves to reveal its structural tessellation.
